Day 1 TORINO
Arrival in Torino, a city rich in culture and history, capital of Piemonte region. Transfer to the hotel, check-in. Overnight in hotel.
Day 2 TORINO
Breakfast in hotel. Departure to visit the Palace of Venaria, a former royal residence, one of the residences of the Royal House of Savoy and included in the UNESCO heritage list.
It is possible to have a simple lunch in the garden of the Palace. In the afternoon, return back in Torino. Visit the National Automobile Museum, founded in 1961, has a three-floor exhibition with a great collection of cars, a library, a documentation centre, a bookshop and an auditorium.
Dinner, overnight in hotel.
Day 3 TORINO-BARDONECCHIA-TORINO
Breakfast in hotel. Departure towards Bardonecchia, a small village, that hosted the 2006 Winter Olympics. After lunch, transfer back to Torino to visit the National Cinema Museum, fitted out inside the Mole Antonelliana Tower. Then, go to visit the chocolate factory Peyrano, founded in Torino in 1915.
Dinner, overnight in hotel.
Day 4 TORINO-LANGHE
Breakfast in hotel. Visit the Juventus Football Stadium, completed in 2011. It is possible to visit the Juventus Museum too. After lunch, departure towards Langhe, a hilly area famous for its wines, cheeses, truffles and beautiful scenery. Stop at Fontanafredda to visit its vineyards. Dinner and overnight in the wine farm.
Day 5 LANGHE-ALBA-LANGHE
Breakfast in hotel. Departure towards Alba, a small town in the hilly area of Langhe, famous for the production of white truffles. Go to the most famous local truffle shop, Tartufi Morra, and visit its store, created by Mr. Giacomo Morra in 1930. After lunch, transfer to the castle of Grinzane Cavour, inscribed on UNESCO World Heritage list, that currently houses an ethnological museum with original furniture items from the 19th century, and rooms dedicated to Cavour's stay and to Italian wine production, and a wine cellar. Dinner and overnight in the wine farm.
Day 6 LANGHE-SERRAVALLE OUTLET-LAKE MAGGIORE
Breakfast in hotel. Go to do some shopping in the largest Italian Oultel, Serravalle Outlet, with more than 200 shops. Lunch in the shopping village. In the evening, transfer to Lake Maggiore, the second biggest lake in Italy (second only to Lake Garda). Here the scenerey is beautiful, with clear and limpid water, green mountains, gardens, flowers and fascinating villas. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
Day 7 LAKE MAGGIORE-ALESSI FACTORY-LAKE MAGGIORE
Breakfast in hotel. Tour of Lake Maggiore by boat, admire the beautiful Isola Bella and Isola Madre, two islands on Lake Maggiore. After lunch, go to visit Alessi factory, founded in 1921 by Giovanni Alessi. Alessi is an Italian company that produces everyday items, ordinary tools and objects executed as high design. Then, go back to Lake Maggiore, dinner and overnight in hotel.
Day 8 LAKE MAGGIORE-TORINO
